Review from KaleidoskopicRomance: BellaLili

I have always wanted one of the fabulous pieces made by BellaLili. When I saw the Edward's Kiss Earrings, I knew they were meant for me. The listing didn't say what kind of cabochon the earrings had, so I wrote and asked Autumn about them. She replied back promptly with the answer, and minutes later, I was buying them. She wrote informing me that she would ship them the following day.
They arrived beautifully and carefully packaged five days later, with two business cards, a thank you note and a card with tips on caring for them:

They were very reasonably priced, considering that the cabochons are vintage and the shipping was free. I am so happy with them, and I am looking forward to owning more of BellaLili's work in the future.

Hard Times

Raise your hand if you have NOT been affected in some way by our current economic situation. Is your hand up? Really? Well, congratulations! And "psssst, over here, we've got somethin' to show ya."
O.k., really I just wanted to create a post to give a little extra linkable love to some of our members who've had a rough way to go recently due to "hard times" (economic situation type or just because type). If you've been waffling over whether or not to purchase a little extra awesomeness, let me help you make that decision. DO IT! Don't leave the stimulation of the economy up to your neighbor. Your neighbor is not that cool.
I've picked one of my favorite things from each "hard times" store (I KNOW, it was hard to pick just one!). Click on the picture to go directly to the selected item... AND GET OUT YOUR WALLETS FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!

It's International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

In honor of this sacred, once-a-year event, I have relisted my popular Poison Bottles on Etsy. These come in handy when you need a quick swig o' grog whilst pillaging the local villagers! And, because it's labelled as poison (with the skull & crossbones) no other lubber or scurvy bilge rat will touch yer brew!

A couple new dolls

They're both available on Etsy...

New at Chenille Macabre!

Hello, fellow Etsy Dark Teamsters! Apologies for my long absence. But my wife and I are finally settled into our new house (BOOM-shakalaka!) and I'm feeling much better now from the concussion I received at the department store (long story).

Anyway, I'm still making miniatures for sale over at the Chenille Macabre store! I'll be at Pittsburgh, PA's Horror Realm this weekend, so today I'm putting up Asian Animal Warriors to preserve my precious stock of scary monsters! Enjoy all-new miniatures of the Night Rakshasa with Chicken Claw Sickles, the Kitsune with Meteor Hammer, and the White Rakshasa with Dual Katana!

All unique, all signed, all handmade! Buy now and buy often!

And it's good to be back!

Darkside Soap presents - Asbestos

Recently some of the lab rats were complaining about respiratory issues, so when I checked the lab, I found some white fibrous stuff in the walls. As I was removing it, some big chunks of it fell into the cauldron while I was making a batch of coconut soap. Um, actually I'm kidding, there's no real asbestos in this soap (note to self - double-check recipe to confirm no asbestos was used before you publish this). Oops...

Anyway, this soap actually uses a generous quantity of Brazilian Sea Salt, which is very good for the skin. When dry, the soap has a scratchy feel, but as it becomes wet it is a very smooth and surprisingly non-exfoliating soap...it's one of our more interesting creations. Oh, and did I mention it smells like coconut???
