A delicious treat for vampires

Yes, every dollhouse has its little bottles of wine and little dishes with food. But how many houses have you seen with a glass decanter full of blood to satisfy the thirst of your nocturne vampire friends?
A simple but powerful central focus for any table, mantle or shop; it comes with 2 metal jugs. The decanter measures 1 2/8 inches (3.2 cm) tall, including the cork. The jugs are 3/8 inches (1 cm) tall.
It will make a terrific gift for vampire or Twilight lovers – just in time to celebrate the release of the DVD!

Marie Antoinette

You won't find anything else like this on Etsy!

One of a kind, clay sculpture of the beloved, and wrongly treated Marie Antoinette and her decapitated head. She is wearing her signature powder blue gown, and is immersed in micro-glitter, with floating white pearls, and iridescent purple beads. Oh did I mention her decapitated head is floating around in there too?

This is a plastic domed snowglobe that is 3" tall from base to top of dome and 2.75" in diameter with a black base. I was going to decorate the base, but it looked kind of cheesy.

Sculpture of Marie's body is 2 3/4 inches tall, and the floating head is 1 3/4 inches.

New at Chenille Macabre!

The Psychopath Miniatures section of the Chenille Macabre store was getting a little thin, so I restocked it with all new minis of a Psychopath, an Anarchist, and a Satanist. Cute, aren't they...?

And in the top left is one of the AMPUTHEATRE's most vicious competitors, the renegade Bible-thumper Crossface! With a Bible covering his heart, pages around his waist, and crosses both tattooed and cut into his body, he STILL preaches a foul gospel of death and dismemberment!

All handmade, all unique, all signed! Buy them today!

The Etsy Dark Team & Bat World Sanctuary

Did you know that of the over 1100 species of bat only 3 are vampire bats? All other species of bat eat insects, fruit, nectar and pollen with a handful that eat fish and frogs. And, they all play a large part in our ecosystems. Insect-eating bats consume billions of tons of crunchy critters every summer which protects crops, and us since they are more than happy to help with trimming down the mosquito populations. Fruit bats help pollinate and seed an amazing 95% of rainforest regrowth which is thanks to their daily feeding habits. Also bat guano is a great organic fertilizer being very high in nitrogen. It was so highly prized by the Incans that there was the penalty of death for killing bats!

You can find more great info on the Myth & Facts of Bats here.

Due to ailments like White Nose Syndrome (which is affecting defenseless hibernating bats in the NE U.S. every winter) plus old myths, superstition and plain old fear, places like Bat World Sanctuary are needed now more than ever. This is where the Etsy Dark Team comes in. We try to make donations as often as possible to the Bat World Sanctuary and we even have a Bat World section in our team shop here! All items in this section are generously donated by members of the Etsy Dark Team and all proceeds go to the bats. So please stop by and help us help the bats help our environment!

If I were a bat I would be...
a Vampire Bat! Find out more about this bat or take the quiz to see what kind of bat you are most like.

Go figure, I'm a vampire bat! ;) ~Static

Magichead!

I have magic on the brain today it seems, so I've listed a few Harry Potter items in my Etsy shop today! Though they don't have to be Harry Potter for someone who isn't a fan, they could simply be a witch hat, a lightning bolt, and a pair of geek glasses! :) I leave it up to you, I just figure I'll get more hits if I tag 'em Harry Potter, lol!

Kit's Glass Etsy Kit's Glass Etsy Kit's Glass Etsy

I also just listed two new vial pendants, a little candlestick, and a sacred heart! These are the kind of bottle necklaces that people usually ask about, because they are just the right size to store a lock of hair or a bit of sand, or any tiny momento you'd like to keep with you. I have a friend who uses hers to carry a bit of black tourmaline as an amulet for energy throughout the day :)

This large clutch is perfect for the Zombie on the go. You'll be the Zombelle of the Undead ball!

Zombies Love You For Your Brains 2

Not-So-Fresh Zombie Pin

The Not-So-Fresh Zombie is pissed. You would be too if you had gone through the shock, denial, sadness and fear of being turned. On the up side, being undead he doesn't have the capacity to worry over the guilt part, right? Unless of course someone comes up with the cure for zombie-ism, then he's screwed. But we all know that won't happen anytime soon. So grab your shotgun and watch out for the teeth! Although you don't have to worry about these little guys... too much.

I'm not responsible for any hypothetical zombie outbreaks!

♦ apx 4" tall
♦ cut in detail, layered, sewn & painted all by hand
♦ they are made one at a time, each one is unique

♦ Comes in it's very own Black Cotton Body Bag which can double as a tissue pouch when not occupied by the zombie, of course.

If you'd like a Zombie with a little less angst check out the Freshly Dead Zombie Pin here.

Dark Artist Spotlight!

Greetings, fellow DarkTeamers! I'm very happy to announce that I've updated my blog, DreadfulMusings, with the first ever Dark Artist Spotlight!

What IS this spotlight of sorts, you ask?

Every month (or so) I'm going to be selecting a dark artist from our team. I will showcase some of my favorites of their work and also include an interview. The questions never stay exactly the same, so you never know what obscure facts you may learn about a fellow team member.

This month it was my pleasure to interview Christine of Hexotica; maker of burlesque and boudoir finery. Check out the interview here!

Check back with my blog to see who else pops up in the Spotlight! I (try) to update it frequently and views/feedback are always appreciated. Happy crafting, everyone!

Review: BagsThatBite.Etsy.com

That's Mortimer (yes I named my purse lol) the Monster Purse going for a ride through Endor Forest with me on a Speeder Bike. I adopted him from BagsThatBite!

Mortimer was a custom order so BagsThatBite and I had several convos back and forth to make sure we got the details worked out. I received him within 3 days of my final payment! And for the amount work involved he was definitely reasonably priced. He was securely packed and arrived with a cute little hair ball creature. Which I assume was his lunch lol. Mortimer is even better looking than the photos. I'm very happy with my Bag That Bites and will definitely be visiting this shop again!

Zombie Flower Onesie

This is a zombie flower. They live in the Zombie Sock Monkeys candy world.

Printed on a 3-6 months Fischer Price onesie.

THE CATS ARE COMING!

"New Items Are Arriving"
I decided to start creating these art deco/gothic style cats
that are absolutely fun to make. The black one has
already been sold and the red is still available at;
Also, new dolls will be arriving shortly. Due to the
overwhelming amount of custom orders, which I am
very thankful for, I'll have some creepy creations up
in a few weeks. I'm also in the process of creating a
stop motion animation for a toy co. so the cats and dolls
will appear, but a few at a time. Keep checking back
for new items!

Zombies Love You For Your Brains 1

Freshly Dead Zombie Pin

The Freshly Dead may be confused, as you can see from this guys face, but don't fooled. They can get you just as good as a Not-So-Fresh one! As this guy apparently learned the hard way. Just because they're only a *little* green around the edges doesn't mean they're any less of a Zombie.

Remember, head shots are the way to go. Although you don't really have to worry about these little guys...

If you'd like a more hardcore Zombie stay on the alert for the Not-So-Fresh Zombie Pin (coming soon)!

The Medium Corner - Wanna do a prophecy?

The Divination Arts have always had a great influence over man. Did you know that Nero and Hitler did not make important decisions without consulting first with their personal astrologer?
For those of you fascinated with prophecies and predictions, here is a fantastic piece of art to add to your miniature collection: The Medium Corner.
This high quality table features some curios used in the making and interpreting of prophecies, from Tarot cards to astral charts and Palmistry books.
This item is one of a kind, and will not be made again. Ever.

Or if clear crystal balls are dull for your taste, here is something to consider:

The Palantir that Saruman had in his tower of Isengard has arrived from Middle-Earth to Kaleidoskopic Romance just for you.
A nice addition to your Lord of the Rings collection!

This is the birthday part skellington from Skeletons in Armor, which is our book of pen and ink skellington portraits.

He just wants to come to the party. He even brought you this balloon.
