Shop of the Week:

Chad Savage was a dark artist from the moment his pudgy little hands were able to set crayon to paper. He was the kid that loved Halloween better than Christmas, rooted for Godzilla and Dracula, and really worried his Southern Baptist parents. It was very clear early on that Chad wanted to celebrate Halloween 365 days a year.

Learn more about Chad Savage here because if you don't know about him, well, you should ;D

Rose Mortem - A review

I am one of those people that just can't get enough of sumptuous and luxurious clothing. Velvet, tulle and satin are my weapons of choice; if they are yours too, Rose Mortem will be an ideal place to get them.

Rose was featured on issue 27 of Gothic Beauty Magazine (pages 50-52) and deservedly so. Her designs are a wide range between whimsical, medieval and romantic. Flowing skirts, dresses fit for faeries and sorceresses, tops to combine with your favorite skirts and specialty items for out-of-the-ordinary weddings are just some of the beauties you can find in her catalog.

The wonderful Camellia top, of which I am the happy owner.

Not only most of the items can be custom made in the colors of your choice; Rose also can make them to fit exactly your measurements. At no extra charge! How cool is that? The turn-about time is short (up to 2 weeks), the delivery is fast and the wait is worth it. When you feel in your hands the soft touch of the fabrics she uses you know you truly posses a work of art and love.

You can find Rose Mortem on Etsy and on her web page.

Even though Rose is not a member of the Etsy's Dark Side Street Team, it would be great to have her among our members someday!

House funds, syrup & a discount

'Once upon a time there were three little sisters and their names were Elsie, Lacie, and Tillie; and they lived at the bottom of a well —

'What did they live on?'

'They lived on treacle,'

Now that I'm done quoting the Dormouse... The coupon code TREACLE will get you 20% off in either one of my shops, or (supplies, destash, patterns). Offer excludes custom listings/requests.

You get a great deal on some awesome items & I get to add to my "house fund"! Win-win, I say ;D

I really am trying to buy a house. But I'm sure you gleaned that since I'm well on my way to be as mad as a Hatter. Did you know that that saying, mad as a hatter, comes from the poor sots playing with mercury? All hatters eventually lost their little minds over time. Until people realized mercury was a poison, among other things.

Don't play with mercury, my little batlings, go buy things from my shops!

Happy New Year to all!

Due to the fact that I am moving back to Europe, I will be closing the shop on January 31st - I hope it will be temporarily, but I do not know for sure.

If you have favorites among my listings, this could be your last chance to make them yours. If your favorites have been sold, please message me and probably I can make a duplicate for you. I will be taking customs orders until the end of the month.
