Shop of the Week: ShaireProductions.etsy.com

Hello! I'm Sherrie Thai, founder of Shaire Productions, a graphic design and illustration company located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This Etsy store is a means to pursue my fine arts from prints to jewelry. Not a moment goes by that I'm not thinking, researching or working on something new. Call it an obsession, but art is my life's passion. I love experimenting in different mediums and styles so hope you enjoy the pieces and have a grand day! :)
Inspirations: mythology, ethnic and pop cultures, music, alchemy, film, politics, history and various art styles.

Shop of the Week: SkellyArtStudios.etsy.com

Step inside the enchantingly spooky world of Marisol McKee and you will find yourself surrounded by artwork with a cultural flair and a myriad of stories to tell. Stemming from an inherently creative upbringing in a California farming community, the reach of artistic influence during Marisol's early years has left an important mark upon much of her raw and foreboding work.
As a first generation American and daughter of Mexican immigrants, McKee's interest in art traces back as far as she can recall, as her parents instilled imaginative ideals at an early age. Marisol remembers back to the late 1970s when she would often spend evenings doodling in a notebook while her dad watched "Starsky and Hutch" on television. As he taught her to draw whimsical birds, her father would lovingly admire the work that she cleverly filled her pages with. A serious man by nature, it was during these art-filled nights when she would see his contemplative disposition suddenly immersed in giggles and smiles... Read more here.

Vampires Flight

This is also another beautifully dark piece that also hangs from gunmetal chain and fastens with a toggle clasp.

At the bottom of the chain, is a sterling silver bat with its wings spread out as if in flight.

From the bat, is a gorgeous (afer all, aren't all vampires gorgeous to begin with)? green faceted connector and at the end is a skulls head, the vampire has drained its victim. A travesty, truly.

Necklace measures 25 inches in length

Happy Haunting!

Spooky Dollhouse Christmas Tree

Getting ready for Christmas? Or do you simply prefer a Nightmare before Christmas?
If you are a fan of Jack Skellington and his particular vision of how these holidays need to be celebrated, you'll like this Spooky Christmas tree, skull candy cane holder, and of course, a (maybe cursed) reindeer doll for your dark dollhouse.
Who says bats are only for Halloween?
Only at Kaleidoskopic Romance!

It's International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

In honor of this sacred, once-a-year event, I have relisted my popular Poison Bottles on Etsy. These come in handy when you need a quick swig o' grog whilst pillaging the local villagers! And, because it's labelled as poison (with the skull & crossbones) no other lubber or scurvy bilge rat will touch yer brew!

Review: Custom Cranium / DeadThingsGrrl.Etsy.com

This little guy is Florian from Custom Cranium (DeadThingsGrrl.Etsy.com) and was everything I'd hoped he would be from the pictures in the listing!

As the description said, " Fluffiest Snuff Stuffy EVAR!" I got quite a deal considering this item was handmade with recycled stuffed animal body and professionally prepared animal skull and tail. Not to mention, the custom etched shot glass with a drawing of Florian and the shop name that was an extra little gift from this seller. Everything was sent via Priority mail and packaged with lots of padding around the doll's head and shotglass. You can tell this seller takes great strides to send everything so that it arrives flawless and in a timely manner.

I have since been back for more and definitely will again!
