Shop of the Week: IllustratedInk.etsy.com

My name is Leila, and I've been a full time artist since 2006. Most of my creations are inspired by "Day of the Dead", traditional tattoo design, and folk art from around the world. I love color! Catholic icons and symbolism influence much of my work. I put a lot of love and effort into each of my one-of-a-kind pieces. It brings me so much joy to create art everyday! I reside in Austin with my sweetheart, 2 kitties, and a Corgi. :)

Things I adore: carnivals, my Jeep with the top off, thrift shopping, writing actual letters, watermelon, snuggling with my kitty that's soft as a bunny, stacks of musty books, Christmas lights, all birds, old cathedrals, Mexican Coke in a glass bottle....

Shop of the Week: MacabreCreations.etsy.com

As you can tell by the name this is a store that offers items that are unique, unexpected, and on occasion … just plain macabre. I am intrigued by the unknown, the bizarre, and the odd.
As an artist, I am inspired by deviations that occur in nature, things that are “magical”, sights that evoke emotion, and (more often than not) whimsical imagery.
It is very likely that if you share my curiosity for something that is truly strange, you will find the perfect addition to your collection here.

I paint and block print, along with jewelry making and crafts. I lean towards the dark, and am enamored with trees, wildlife and the human form. And things that make me laugh. I hope you find something you like, and I welcome requests.

Shop of the Week: 12Punt3.etsy.com

Hello, my name is Marianne and I am a indie designer and plush artists. Since 2005 I have been designing creatures called 'The Oneyes'. The Oneyes are created with the goal to bring some love and creepy cute fun into people's lives! All Oneyes products are designed, developed and handmade with love here at my creative design studio 12PUNT3 in The Netherlands. I put great care into making them. I work in a smoke free environment and I make sure every detail is well made. All plush pieces are machine sewn and hand sewn.

Shop of the Week: SkellyArtStudios.etsy.com

Step inside the enchantingly spooky world of Marisol McKee and you will find yourself surrounded by artwork with a cultural flair and a myriad of stories to tell. Stemming from an inherently creative upbringing in a California farming community, the reach of artistic influence during Marisol's early years has left an important mark upon much of her raw and foreboding work.
As a first generation American and daughter of Mexican immigrants, McKee's interest in art traces back as far as she can recall, as her parents instilled imaginative ideals at an early age. Marisol remembers back to the late 1970s when she would often spend evenings doodling in a notebook while her dad watched "Starsky and Hutch" on television. As he taught her to draw whimsical birds, her father would lovingly admire the work that she cleverly filled her pages with. A serious man by nature, it was during these art-filled nights when she would see his contemplative disposition suddenly immersed in giggles and smiles... Read more here.

Shop of the Week: WickedBadNaughty.etsy.com

I am a glass artisan and complete glass junkie. I've been creating and repairing glass professionally for over six years now. I started my apprenticeship at the Kittrell Riffkind Art Glass Studio in Dallas, Texas, under David Kittrell and Michael Riffkind. I have also taken many, MANY classes there with Donna Merrill whom is an excellent bead artist and instructor. I've also studied fusing there with Rhonda Mitchell who teaches several fusing classes and is also an excellent studio artisan as well. No one told me when I started that there was no 12 step for this addiction... lol...which is why I made it my company slogan. When I'm not cutting glass for stained glass and art glass windows, I'm fusing it, torching it, sandblasting it, painting it, buying it, touching it, coveting it, thinking about it, eating, living, breathing, dreaming about glass. I lurvs me some glass. lol };D

Shop of the Week: Hibernacula.etsy.com

There is a fire in your heart, sometimes shy, and sometimes bright, and it yearns for magic. You carry it like a secret. It reaches for mysteries, it delights in the strange, it dares. You step behind the curtain. That fire sets your eyes alight.

My name is Dana Hammack, I am a mom, a wife, and all around arts and crafts junkie. I live in Arizona and Day of The Dead Artwork is a very popular style here. As you look thru my little shop you will see a variety of things. It all depends on my mood as to what the finished piece ends up as. I work full time and this is my version of stress release. I hope you like my work and thank you for visiting my shop.

Shop of the Week: TheZombified.etsy.com

Krystal Fancey Beck (aka the elusive Zombie) is the mad genius creator behind all of the artwork and items on The Zombified. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, she began drawing and creating as soon as she was physically able. As something of a "serial artist" she experimented and continues in experiment in a wide variety of creative mediums and styles, though ultimately tends to favor drawing in ink. She originally started The Zombified in early 2006 with a rough and now out-of-print run of the first issue of the Hallowhaus, before temporarily closing while she relocated and started working on an intense site and product overhaul, reopening again in late 2008. Today, she lives (roughly) in Houston, Texas with her husband and their four feline cohorts.

Shop of the Week: GingerDead.etsy.com

The store's name comes from Calan's comic GingerDead and Friends. The comic characters can be found on many of the greeting cards and comic prints.
The art jewelry features original illustrations drawn in pen and ink on hand formed polymer clay and is in a similar vein as Calan's comic art. Some of the jewelry is hand sculpted in stone clay and painted in acrylics. The art dolls are usually made from clays and mixed media such as found objects and natural elements picked up at local beaches. Other than the cards and prints the things you'll find here are one of a kind and handmade by the artist.

Shop of the Week: PillboxDesigns.etsy.com

Born from two mad native Angelinos, PillBoxDesigns took form in 2008. Initially creating a variety of mural size vinyl art decals, we soon began exploring other methods of producing our art. Heavily influenced by the vintage flair of yesteryear, Horror and Cult Movies, femme fatal and cheeky art, we have expanded our product line to what you see today. Laptop Decals, Vinyl Art Clock Kits, Dry Erase Aluminum Signs and of course our moderate to mural size Vinyl Wall Decals. All creations are done "in house" by our own hands from production to packaging.
From the mildly macabre to decidedly sexy, our vinyl wall art will provoke your imagination, taking your home or office into another realm of reality.

Shop of the Week: SauvageRavenCreation.etsy.com

In August 2006 I locked myself into the laboratory and when I emerged, my creatures were born. My minions have had many transformations since then and are still evolving.
I am interested in all things dark & spooky. Needless to say my favorite Holiday (besides Christmas) is Halloween and is reflected in most of my creations.
I am a great fan of Mr. Poe & more often than not there will be at least one item here with a touch of the master.
