Krampus of the Hill

Here's a couple custom requested Ivory Krampusses playing together before they went off to their new home. One's obviously a little shy, the other not so much...

Always happy to make more or other create other critters!

Shop of the Week: SWStitchery.etsy.com

Before Static White was spawned she was another creature. A dark and unhappy creature. One night she had a long and horrid dream which at the end she died. She didn't wake. Everything just went black. She was alone with her thoughts but could neither see or hear. Slowly motes of white invaded the black and, oh, the sound! Like a TV when the channels gone off the air after you've fallen asleep and the remote has dropped unnoticed to the floor...

Another Pocket Zombie Santa Mini Plush!

Is it me or did this Pocket Zombie Santa maybe have a little too much special eggnog, if you know what I mean?

Anywho, as you can see poor Santa had a run-in with some naughty zombies. They gnawed on Santa's head and arm a bit before the reindeer could stomp their zombie butts into the ground where they belonged. But there's no keeping Santa from making his rounds! Granted with a shuffle and grunt, preferring brains and guts over milk and cookies these days but, hey, what can you do?

♦ Stands approximately 4.5 inches (11.43cm) high from brain to feet.

♦ Individually cut from synthetic felt, sewn, and embroidered by my two hands.
♦ "Blood" is freehand painted.
♦ Comes in a "Body Bag" (aka tissue holder)

♦ Can be left as is, a Mini Plush, ~or~ can have a ornament loop/hook added ~or~ a pinback added at no extra charge. Just let me know in the "message to seller" box when you make your purchase.
(This listing is for the Pocket Zombie Santa only. Skeleton/tombstone/pillar not included.)

Next up, some new reversible headbands!

Soul Windows...

You know when you buy things for yourself but then months later realize I'm never going to get around to using that (because your "to do" is a mile long most likely) but it's so awesome? Yeah, I used to do that a LOT and still do occasionally. But, thankfully, I have a cute little Supply & Destash shop over on Etsy to share it all with you! I also have a few supplies I try to list as often as I find them because, well, they're that damn cool. For example, EYEBALL BEADS:

The center Bloodshot beauties are nice heavy Glass Lampwork. The Eyeball Beads surrounding that are all light weight Acrylic. So dive right into the sea of eyes and take your pick!

I only have a small amount of the Eyeball Beads in stock but if all goes well they'll be back in the shop as often as possible!

House funds, syrup & a discount

'Once upon a time there were three little sisters and their names were Elsie, Lacie, and Tillie; and they lived at the bottom of a well —

'What did they live on?'

'They lived on treacle,'

Now that I'm done quoting the Dormouse... The coupon code TREACLE will get you 20% off in either one of my shops, http://SWStitchery.etsy.com/ or http://StaticWhite.etsy.com/ (supplies, destash, patterns). Offer excludes custom listings/requests.

You get a great deal on some awesome items & I get to add to my "house fund"! Win-win, I say ;D

I really am trying to buy a house. But I'm sure you gleaned that since I'm well on my way to be as mad as a Hatter. Did you know that that saying, mad as a hatter, comes from the poor sots playing with mercury? All hatters eventually lost their little minds over time. Until people realized mercury was a poison, among other things.

Don't play with mercury, my little batlings, go buy things from my shops!

Tips for a Frugal Halloween Party

EDT's Count Down To Halloween!
This weeks instalment of our countdown to Halloween is brought to you by the all powerful queen of stitches herself Static White of SWStitchery. With her amazing talent she can not only make monkeys hang from your trees, but cute little piggies fly as well. So take a listen to her most festive and frugal Halloween party tips.

Tips for a Frugal Halloween Party

I was at the local dollar store and wandering through the aisles I thought "Wow I could throw a fairly awesome Halloween party on the cheap." Not that I really am but I can pretend. So in my wanderings not only did I eyeball the Halloween decorations... Okay, I did buy a couple Halloween decorations but who can resist? Not I, said the cat. Besides I never did replace my old skeleton.
Get back on track. Right. *Ahem* so I found black paper plates, cups, plastic utensils & even napkins. There was a cutsie set with a ghost, witch & black cat but I'm not going that route (in my head anyway).

You could leave a stack of these by the door for those that fail to dress up:

Not only will they look like serial killers (which is cool) but they sweat profusely in punishment for not dressing up. You don't need to mention that part just snicker and hand them a drink with some of these floating in them:

Skip the pumpkins and go for the skull ice cubes. Or maybe some Skull jello shots!

If you find a good dollar store they should have all sorts of other goodies right now like foam tombstones, cauldrons, skeletons, plastic goblets, etc. Hey, in this economy every dollar saved counts but that doesn't mean we can't have fun! The one I was in even had Halloween candies, lots of skull decorations, plus streamers, basic food stuffs (think ingredients) and I even saw Margarita mix!

Hmm, maybe I will have that party after all...

Static White love's creating quality handmade items whether it's clothing, dolls, or various forms of art. Weird, wonderful, and random, her items are generally one/few of a kind. All created with an artistic eye, stitches like sutures & a wee touch of madness.
