New Little Monster By Pasha13

Little Monster Girl

This little monster girl and her accessories are all handmade.
She comes with a ball stand that holds a bat.
She's approximately 9 1/2 inches tall.
She can sit alone if hands are put behind her or against something.

We're late, we're late...

...for a very important date - The April Exhibition to be precise! Seems a bit silly to enter them now, on the last day!?! They are finally finished though, after many mishaps, so I thought I'd give you a sneak preview before they go into my shop next week - Freaky Alice Noir & the White Rabbit :o)

"How To" Creat your own wallpaper motifs

This is my bathroom. The lovely pin up girl border around the room is simple and easy to do.
The stenciling is a different story lol.

Whats the secret to this? Laser photo copies. Yep It's as simple as that. You can go to any office supply store and create your own motifs on the $.50 color laser copiers.
Items you will need:
Photo copies of your choice
scissors or xacto knife
damp sponge
wallpaper paste...it is best to spend the extra $ for kitchen/bathroom wallpaper paste if your doing a bathroom or kitchen. You do not want all your hard work peeling off the wall from the humidity.
Liquitex matte varnish
1"-2" paint brush ..this really depends on the size of the designs
I painted borders on the wall around where I was going to apply my cut outs. I thought It would be a nice touch. I do not recommend applying them over dark paints, it can show through the paper.
1. Plan your designs and cut out your motifs
2. Wash your walls with a degreaser like TSP, to achieve good adhesion. You wouldn't want all your hard work to start peeling on you.
3. With your paintbrush, apply wallpaper paste to the back of the motif and to the wall where you plan to apply it. Apply your motif to the wall and using the damp sponge smooth it into place and work out any air bubbles. You can fiddle with them a bit, but don't rub too hard they may tear. Wipe off any excess paste as you go. The paste dries clear, but you don't want any large blobs. Continue around the room till you have them all applied.
4. Let them dry for a few hours. The time needed depends on your area and humidity level.
5. Apply the Liquitex matte varnish over just the motif. Its a great protective coat, and I find a necessary step. Some have used the varnish to apply their motifs. Which will work. But if you ever plan to redecorate you will have a heck of a time removing them.
6. Enjoy all your hard work.

Darkside Soap presents - My Goodness, it's Guinneshhhh (part II)

Darkside Soap is happy to announce that batch #2 of "My Goodness, it's Guinneshhhh" is now available. The first batch sold out almost immediately, so based on that success, we went and changed the look of the soap. Yes, we at Darkside Labs learned everything we know about marketing from New Coke. If something is doing well, change it immediately.
Actually, this is a change for the better (we think)...we added cool black swirls to make the soap feel more at home at Darkside Labs. As you know, we buy our black oxides for our recipes in 2 ton lots.

For more info, here's the link - My Goodness, it's Guinneshhhh

New Stuff--Finally

New stuff that I've been working on for entirely too long which should have been posted weeks ago. I have a new section called "Morbid Crochet" because I thought black beads just weren't depressing enough.

Perfidious Beadworks

Not a cabinet... It's a trunk!

Here is another fantastic piece of furniture for your haunted dollhouse, witch or wizard scene or room box.
This is a miniature trunk - a real trunk, not a mini box- filled with goodies for your magical needs: a scrying ball, potion bottle, Book of Shadows, tarot cards, a wand, even a whimsical faux hourglass, and more! ll the items are loose for you to arrange, and they fit inside the trunk.
One of a kind, will not be reproduced in the future. Ever.
A must if you are a fan of Harry Potter, or simply a delightful addition to any attic or basement.
Do not wait and get it today at Kaleidoskopic Romance!

New at Chenille Macabre!

I'm back from UBCon. As always it was a fantastic time! And I see that the Chenille Macabre store needs a little restocking in the minis section...

So along with a return of the Akuneko Mini with Ninja Blades to the store front comes a brand-new Anarchist Mini swinging with a barbed wire bat, and a likely long-overdue return of a Minotaur to the site.

...And the evil succubus Mandibula returns to the AMPUTHEATRE section of the store- wearing less than she was last time!

All unique, all handmade, all signed! Buy yours today!

The White Rabbit!

It took a while, but I finally finished the neck of my White Rabbit piece, and I photographed it for Etsy! He'll be coming with me to Bats Day Black Market as well, but I wanted him for this month's Etsy's Dark Side Exhibition, so that's why I listed him today. Feel free to buy him if you like, because he'll be leaving the shop on May 2nd!

Foxy!

Thought I'd share a pic of my lovely Foxy critter from Static White's Stitchery. He's is just soooo cute, I love him. I asked Maya if she could make one for me and hey presto, before I could say "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog", it was made and on it's way! Beautifull workmanship and wrapped to perfection, fast shipping and a super friendly seller, what more could you want? :o)

Two New Decals!

This is a great way to let people know where to take shelter in the event of zombie apocalypse. Or, a great way to throw those unprepared moochers off long enough for you to lock yourself into the REAL shelter. That will teach them to laugh at you and call you paranoid. Who's laughing NOW? That's right, you. Because Zombies just sort of groan.

It's the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane...

Both can be found in the Sci Fi and Horror section of my shop: http://stickerella.etsy.com

A Special Gift

Here recently we celebrated our daughters birthday. You can find the details in this post. One of my Team mates thought this was so sad that no one showed up. She created something special for our Doughtier. "Robert the Pillow Friend" Has had a great week with my daughter. She has hugged him and takes him everywhere. She has also lovingly renamed him Angel after her favorite vampire. Yes shes five and loves most vampire related moves, a self discovery on her own. She also loves Underworld and no she doesn't have night mares. the other day she had said that "Angel" needed fangs lol. Well I just wanted to give a shout out to the 5th year gift fairy and link to her shop. Thank you for making this awesome pal for her.

Gator Girl

step right up folks and meet Gator girl, she is real and ALIVE!!
meet Gator Girl, part of the Mealy Monster land traveling sideshow.
When Gator girl was in her mama's belly her Mama came across a big Old Alligator. The alligator got just one little tiny bite, lucky for Gator girl's mama, she manged to escape. Maybe the Alligator let her go, knowing what it had done or maybe luck was on her side that day. Frantic she made it home and told her husband what had happened. He hunted down that Alligator and shot it dead. Needless to say, on the day she was born that Big old alligator got the last laugh.

Diva Capelet in Black Velvet

Every diva needs a capelet to ward off the cool night airs!

This half circle capelet is Black 100% Cotton Velvet and reverses to beautiful 2 inch Black & textured White stripe soft Polyester (definitely not the itchy stuff!). It closes with 2 beautiful Art Deco style buttons.

♦ Length at center front is 12" plus a 3" stand up collar

One size fits many!

Let me just say, I don't know how many of these I'll be making since my Cotton Velvet supply is pretty limited and getting what I call "velvet lung" sucks! I'll live ;).

Review of my (KaleidoskopicRomance's) recent purchase from DeadSpider

I fell in love with DeadSpider's work since I first saw it. I was ecstatic when I found that she had listed her famous Thirteen Ravens labels as a miniature set, because my dollhouse was in need of an intriguing and bewitched look. Although I loved the idea, the titles of the labels were not what I was aiming for, so I contacted her to ask if it was possible that she customized the labels for me. She responded promptly, and was very nice and accommodating with my request. After I purchased them, she shipped them quickly, and they arrived some days later - very fast, considering they were coming from Canada. They were carefully packed inside a cute Thank-you card, and they were beyond fantastic, exactly what I was hoping for:
I had asked her to include a couple of repetitions of the titles, and she was very attentive to detail, because even when the titles said the same, the labels were different - the crow was in a different position, or a different size. The sheet even included instructions about how to apply them - for which I am very grateful. My miniature glass jars are now much better looking thanks to DeadSpider.
You don't have a miniature house? That's not a problem! Her labels come too in real-life size, and they would be an awesome addition to your bathroom or kitchen decor. Don't tell me you had not think about applying them to your spices bottles... Who says these labels are only good for Halloween parties?

Nipples, Zip Guns and Tweezers; oh my!

...I seem to be on a nipple-piercing kick this week at Chenille Macabre; as our new Gangbanger Mini with Machete and Pit Fiend Mini with Chain Whip both dangle gold rings from their chest anomalies.

Meanwhile in the AMPUTHEATRE, a new figure of the sinister nightmare stalker Mr. Eyeball Plucker graces the store, and he is accompanied by Trigger Treat- a murderous, pumpkin-headed redneck with a makeshift pistol!
