I have eclectic tastes and draw inspiration from vintage styles, nature, fairy tales like the Brothers Grimm, and beautiful little beasties. Often I find myself daydreaming about living in a tiny cottage deep in the forest. Running away with the circus would be splendid too! I think these flights of fancy are often reflected in my jewelry.
I have a background in graphic design & illustration, so creating silhouette and portrait jewelry is a tangible way for me to connect with my design ideas while making unique pieces of wearable art. Drafting a new design for my jewelry is similar to designing the type of graphics I've been accustomed to creating, but now I can create a visual narrative in simple lines and embellish to my heart's desire, making Fable & Fury jewelry designs uniquely mine.

A very beautiful and dark style of necklace that fastens with a lobster claw clasp and is strung on beadlon.

i purposely shot this necklace indoors because i wanted to show that the beads change colors when out of natural light. Outside, the beads are a lite purple and when the entire piece is brought indoors, the beads turn a lite blue, almost a pale blue as shown in the two images to the right of this listing.

The length of this necklace measures 20 inches in length while the measurements of the pendant are 2 1/2 x 3 inches.

This choker is a bit chunky but still lends that elegant feel and look as well as being dressy!

The choker is handmade by me and includes chunky round irridescent ceramic beads with bead caps at the top and bottom of each bead.

In the middle, i've also included small white faceted glass beads. I originally had another color in between but i wanted to give this piece a vintage look like it had come from the 1950s.

Choker measures 17 inches and fastens with a toggle clasp. Since its completely white, it can be worn with just about anything and any other color!

Black Faceted Dangle Earrings

These earrings have a little bit of a steampunkish feel and style to them. They are made with hypo allergenic lever backs and round metal ornate ball spacers. The charms theirselves include black faceted stones in the middle, top and sides and measure 4 1/2 inches in length.

This pair would make a wonderful accessory for when you're heading out to the goth clubs or another event.

This was made for my Dead Girl Coffin Decay Box line. It is painted a slithery green color and adorned with sea plant life with water droplets for that under water creature look. It is lacquered to protect the paint and features a mini Creature from the Black Lagoon movie poster on top. The mini poster is also lacquered to protect the image. The inside is also painted a slithery green color and lined in a mossy green felt for a nice soft finish for all your spooky treasures.

Introducing my latest and greatest...

A Zombified Corpse Doll

Please note this is NOT a toy. This is a decoration/piece of art for adults and is not intended for children.

Doll was made to be in sitting position so she will easily display on any shelf. She was approx 16 inches before she was put into display position.

She has the following...
* bloody blonde hair accented with a bloody white rhinestone bow
* one buldging blue eye & one oozing empty eye socket
* greenish brown rotting flesh.
* Her right foot has been removed to give her that rotting decayed look and her hands have been bloodied to give her that mysterious "did this doll come to life and do something bad" appeal
* To complete her look she is wearing a cute, lacey yellow dress splattered in blood.

I started my apprenticeship at the Kittrell Riffkind Art Glass Studio in Dallas, Texas, under David Kittrell and Michael Riffkind. I have also taken many, MANY classes there with Donna Merrill whom is an excellent bead artist and instructor. I've also studied fusing there with Rhonda Mitchell who teaches several fusing classes and is also an excellent studio artisan as well. No one told me when I started that there was no 12 step for this addiction... lol...which is why I made it my company slogan. When I'm not cutting glass for stained glass and art glass windows, I'm fusing it, torching it, sandblasting it, painting it, buying it, touching it, coveting it, thinking about it, eating, living, breathing, dreaming about glass. I took some vacation time during the holidays but was still hard at work.

I came up with a new line of Dead Girl Decay barrettes/pins I call Batty Burlesque.

I took rubber bats and painted them in various shades of glitter paint.

I then attached different types of feathers to make large barrettes/pins with a burlesque feel.

That's right..... like my Dead Girl Webbed Decay these can be worn as either a barrette or a pin giving you 2 different accessories for your money!

Is it me or did this Pocket Zombie Santa maybe have a little too much special eggnog, if you know what I mean?

Anywho, as you can see poor Santa had a run-in with some naughty zombies. They gnawed on Santa's head and arm a bit before the reindeer could stomp their zombie butts into the ground where they belonged. But there's no keeping Santa from making his rounds! Granted with a shuffle and grunt, preferring brains and guts over milk and cookies these days but, hey, what can you do?

Krystal Fancey Beck (aka the elusive Zombie) is the mad genius creator behind all of the artwork and items on The Zombified. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, she began drawing and creating as soon as she was physically able. As something of a "serial artist" she experimented and continues in experiment in a wide variety of creative mediums and styles, though ultimately tends to favor drawing in ink. She originally started The Zombified in early 2006 with a rough and now out-of-print run of the first issue of the Hallowhaus, before temporarily closing while she relocated and started working on an intense site and product overhaul, reopening again in late 2008. Today, she lives (roughly) in Houston, Texas with her husband and their four feline cohorts.

Handpainted Coffin Boxes

Halloweens coming fast and these coffin boxes are right on time for your halloween party! They are handpainted by me and decorated with scary and spooky halloween stickers on the inside as well as the outside.

The purple coffin box has a victorian feel to it with the black vines on the top and on the sides. Once its opened, there are four skulls that were placed there with modge podge. The inside was painted with a mix of red violet and black paint, making it a purplish black.

The black coffin contains sticker both on the outside as well as inside and once its opened, there are two black glittery bats and was handpainted in red paint.

Both Boxes measure 7x3 1/2 inches.

19th Day Miniatures presents the Headless Horseman, 1/12 scale

Update-now SOLD-My Mom in Law Sherry and I worked very hard on this completely hand-made sculpture from top to bottom. It took us 9 days to make this working as a team. Everything but the wooden base is hand-made. We started out by sculpting free-hand this gorgeous spirit horse, called a Goblin in the original story by Washington Irving as can be read here: http://www.bartleby.com/310/2/2.html
This is our version of the Headless Horseman from this story, which was said was damned Hessian Soldier who would ride through the night searching for heads to slice off with his sword until his own could be found. The flaming pumpkin head was said to be thrown at people. It's the perfect tale of intrigue and fear for the Halloween season :) Here's our sculpture:

Check out the custom Bloomers I recently finished! I personally love them. This one was a bit of a challenge because the Skulls & Roses cotton print fabric is not easy to come by particularly where I live. Luckily I was able to snag some at a decent price online. Then, I realized I was completely out the black cluney lace I was going to use to trim these. But, hidden away in my lace stash was just enough of the black & white cluney lace you see here. I've had it so long I don't think it's made anymore. At least, I've yet to find more!

Even with the hiccups, or more like thankfully due to the hiccups, I was able to create a great pair of one-of-a-kind bloomers for a wonderfully patient (and repeat) customer!

This is a set and they are all made with fimo and sculpey polymer clay and was put into a oven at 250 degrees for 30 minutes to bake.

The buttons range from the skulls to the spiders and headstone as shown in the images above and to the right of this listing.

Rings are made on my wooden mandrel (more commonly known as a ring sizer) and hammered into shape to insure durability and strength.
